There are castles, ruined sites and historic houses and beautiful villages: Rievaulx Abbey, Castle Howard, Goathland, Thornton le Heath, North Yorks Railway and Flamingo Land is near Pickering, There are tearooms and ice-cream places where you can sample Yorkshire baking and ice-cream at its best. The holiday is a special opportunity to be in the company of likeminded people and to enjoy this unique larger family experience in the safe space, beautiful surroundings and facilities that the School provides. A unique holiday you will thoroughly enjoy and treasure.
(Leaflets and ideas will be provided).

The main social area will be in the great hall which takes in part of the entrance area and stairs. It is not too disability friendly, any one would require to ascend a flight of stairs to the bedrooms. Food is provided by the school caterers in the dining room. We all can enjoy the locally cooked meals with the luxury of not needing to shop, cook or even wash up afterwards. On site there is plenty to do; open playing fields, small sports hall for badminton, tennis courts, heated indoor swimming pool, chapel, horse riding, wi fi, table tennis. Not to be missed is the W.O.L.F Run - a Water, Obstacle, Land and Forest course. You can easily find a peaceful corner within the grounds to unwind or read that special book.

In the evenings there is time for fellowship and worship together as well as a late evening unwind. The holiday is a special opportunity to be in the company of like-minded people and to enjoy both the space and facilities the School provides in beautiful surroundings.
